ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Officials said part of an Orange County duplex sustained heavy damage in a fire early Sunday morning.
The fire broke out at a two-unit duplex on Davisson Avenue, off of Lee Road, around 2:00 a.m.
Firefighters said once on scene, flames could be seen coming from the right side of the duplex.
Crews were able to knock down the fire in less than an hour, officials said. Firefighters said the roof collapsed on right side of the duplex and the unit sustained heavy damage.
Officials are looking into whether a car parked in the carport sparked the fire.
The fire chief told WFTV the fire did not easily spread to the other unit because of a fire wall dividing them.
Firefighters said no one was injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
