TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida’s Capitol was closed “out of an abundance of caution” due to a bomb threat that was made overnight, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Thursday.
Law enforcement officials said no explosive devices were found and nothing suspicious was identified.

Tallahassee police say the bomb threat led them to The Corner Pocket Bar & Grill on Apalachee Parkway.
After an investigation by multiple agencies, one person was taken into custody. Police haven’t identified the suspect.
Out of an abundance of caution, Florida’s Capitol is closed to employees until 9 a.m. today. A bomb threat was made re: Florida Capitol overnight. Capitol Complex has been swept by LE & explosive detecting K-9’s. No explosive devices were found & nothing suspicious identified.

The Capitol was closed to employees until 9 a.m., officials said.
Capitol Police, and FDLE agents working with the Joint Terrorism Task Force and Leon County Sheriff’s Office all assisted Tallahassee police with the investigation.
