Guardian Ad Litem program needs volunteers

Updated:

Many children are taken away from their homes because of abuse, abandonment, or neglect. It’s the job of Seminole County’s Guardian Ad Litem to work with the courts to provide care and support for getting these young individuals into safe, permanent homes.

There are twenty-one local Guardian Litem programs in twenty judicial circuits in Florida alone. If you’d like to become a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, and make a difference in these kids’ lives, come out to the training programs at 190 N Bush Blvd Sanford, Fl.

Please call 1-866-341-1425 (toll free) statewide number or the local number at 321-961-1280 (Patti Williams) Recruiter for more information or to reserve your spot at one of the local training programs.

The dates are listed below:

Friday, April 13, from 12 PM TO 10 PM

Saturday, April 14, from 9 AM TO 7 PM

Friday, April 20, from 12 PM TO 10 PM

Thousands of children become the focus of judicial court proceedings each year. This program will recruit, train, and prepare volunteers to help advocate these children in court. You can be the person that gives these children the voice that could change their lives for the better.
