Detect Lung Cancer Early with a CT Health Screening

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Low-cost, self-pay health screening is affordable peace of mind.

If you are you a current or former smoker, have been exposed to secondhand smoke or other environmental carcinogens, or have a family history of lung cancer, you can now order your own CT screening for lung cancer without a doctor’s order.

Parrish Medical Center is offering the low-dose CT scans for lung cancer for $99, due at the time of service. Insurance companies will not be billed by PMC.

As with all types of cancer, it is always important to have an early diagnosis. A cancer as small as one centimeter can be detected with a low-dose CT scan. That’s less than half an inch, which is considered early stage. Detecting lung cancer at its earliest stage, and having it treated, means a person can expect much better outcomes.

To qualify for this screening, patients must have never been diagnosed with cancer (not including basal or squamous cell skin cancer).

This screening does not require a doctor’s order, but does require preregistration. Make your own appointment by calling 321-268-6150, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Physician’s scripts are not accepted for this service.)

Screening locations are Parrish Medical Center, 951 N. Washington Ave., Titusville, FL 32796, and Parrish Healthcare Center at Port St. John, 5005 Port St. John Parkway, Port St. John, FL 32927.
