Hollywood Drive-In Golf is outrageously fun

Universal Orlando Resort opened Hollywood Drive-In Golf at Universal CityWalk earlier this week, and its two 18-hole courses offer two unique miniature golf experiences!!!

Designed by Universal’s Creative team in partnership with Adventure Golf Design and Development, Hollywood Drive-In Golf has a little something for everyone with one course based on classic horror and sci-fi movies.

We chose to play the horror course, called The Haunting of Ghostly Greens, and it was filled with tons of great details and sounds that paid homage to some classic Horror movies in a fun and tongue-in-cheek way!

If you have played golf at Walt Disney World or on the themed courses on I-Drive, you will be thrilled with the level of detail and game play that Hollywood Drive-In Golf has to offer!

The course itself is super family friendly! While the holes are “Horror” themed, it is done in a campier than genuine scary way. You will want to watch out for the Creature from the Black Lagoon and the scary sounds coming from the inhabitants of the Pet Cemetery!

Also the par for each hole is either 2 or 3, which makes it playable and fun for every member of your party! Make sure you examine each hole for sneaky ways to get a hole-in-one! Another fun detail is that every hole has a fun description which have clues for the best way to play each hole.

Also, the 18th hole of The Haunting of Ghostly Greens doesn't disappoint!!! With its interactive and moving parts, it's the perfect ending to a great game!

Hollywood Drive-In Golf is now open to the public daily from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. Admission rates to play one course are $13.99 plus tax for adults and $11.99 plus tax for children (ages 3 to 9).  Also if you want to keep the fun going after your round, you can upgrade to a double feature and play another round at a 25% savings, $10.49 plus tax for adults and $8.99 plus tax for children (ages 3 to 9). Also, there is a 10% discount for Annual Pass holders.
