2 found dead inside car outside Osceola County shopping center

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were found dead Wednesday night inside a white car parked outside an Osceola County bank.

Osceola deputies said whatever happened to the pair is an isolated incident and that they are not looking for any suspects.

The only thing investigators have told Channel 9 is that they were responding to a "potential shooting" near the Bank of America near Osceola Parkway and Buenaventura Boulevard around 7:30 p.m.

Johnathan Rodriguez stopped by the bank Thursday morning and asked Channel 9 reporter Sarahbeth Ackerman if she'd gotten any updates from deputies about what happened. Rodriguez said he heard people arguing in the bank parking lot Wednesday night as he was getting his two young children out of his car.

Soon, he said the situation escalated and he heard four gunsshots.

"That's when I looked again and I walked over and the lady was leaning over to the passenger side with two holes in her neck," Rodriguez said.

Others nearby said they heard "pops" that they thought could have been gunshots.

"We heard the pops inside, and everybody just was like confused or whatever, and we were like, 'What was that?' We stayed in there longer cause I'm not going out there with shots out there," Tyler Tyrell said.

Channel 9 is working to get updates from deputies on what happened outside the bank and the identities of the people who died.
