$1.25 million island on Volusia Intracoastal up for grabs

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Have you ever dreamed of owning an island? You can for $1.25 million.

The island in Volusia County on the Intracoastal Waterway lies between Port Orange and Wilbur-by-the-sea.

The owner said he purchased the spoil rights to the island from the state, which he said would allow someone to build there.

The island is only accessible by boat.
