LAKELAND, Fla. — A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrests of the gunmen who shot a Polk County boy on Monday.
Detectives said Aleek Saint-Aime, 12, was shot three times, while he was sitting on the porch of a home on West 3rd Street in Lakeland.
“I seen the car coming around the corner and then, ‘pow, pow, pow!’” said Saint-Aime’s cousin, Anthony.
Saint-Aime is recovering in the hospital after having surgery, investigators said.
Police believe a school fight may have led to the drive-by shooting.
