Suspects caught; lockdown lifted on Flagler schools

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla.,None — Lockdowns of two Flagler County schools have been lifted after sheriff’s deputies arrested three suspected home burglars shortly before 11:30 a.m., officials said.

Deputies said they responded to a report of a burglary in progress around 10:20 a.m. Monday on Brunswick Lane in Palm Coast. Deputies said one suspect was found outside the home with a gunshot wound. He was airlifted to Halifax Hospital and his condition is not known.  Deputies were not involved in the shooting, according to the sheriff's office.

Two other suspects were found inside a duplex on Brelyn Lane in Palm Coast.

Charges are pending against the three suspects.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is assisting in the investigation.
