The Florida Highway Patrol says two people are dead and another is critically wounded when a speeding pickup truck ran a red light in Ocala.
Troopers say 67-year-old Ray Allen Kraus and his 64-year-old wife Pamela Jean Kraus died in the crash late Thursday on State Road 200. They say 30-year-old Allen Cole Godwin remains in critical condition after being airlifted to a Gainesville hospital.
The Ocala Star-Banner reports Godwin was speeding west on the road when he ran the stop light. He hit the car Kraus' car as it attempted to make a left turn.
Troopers say speed was a factor in the crash.
