ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

Channel 9 has learned two teenagers – ages 16 and 14 -- are accused of armed robbery and raping a 14-year-old girl.

Orange County deputies charged Brian Benton and Jarquise Hunter as adults in the case, saying the two randomly targeting their victims at Barnett Park.

"They would just come up and have a random conversation and then all of a sudden the guns would come out," said Detective Jason Sams of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said the couple robbed multiple people and even raped a teen girl in the woods near the disc golf course.

The victim's boyfriend said he allowed the teens to borrow his phone and thought it was strange they didn't actually make a phone call. Minutes later, he claims one of the teens came up from behind and started beating him with a belt.

The boyfriend said they threatened to kill him and his girlfriend said they forced her to perform sexual acts on both of them before Benton then forced himself on her.

Robbery investigators said Benton seemed to be the leader in two robberies, too, in one case asking for bait from a fisherman then pulling a gun.
