3 bears that escaped cage at Seminole rehab center moved to new facility

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. - Three bears that were trapped by wildlife officials in a Seminole County neighborhood where a woman was attacked briefly escaped Thursday.

The bears were in a rehabilitation center and got out of their cage, but officials said they were quickly recaptured.

The three bears, a mother and her cubs, that were caught and sent to the rehabilitation center, have been moved to a center in Sorrento, officials said.

The three bears will be DNA-tested. If the results do not match the bear from the attack, they'll be relocated.

Wildlife officials said they still have set traps to try to capture the bear that attacked the woman last week.
