ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police have arrested and charged a 45-year-old woman accused of having sex with a 16-year-old boy.
Iris Spears was arrested after the boy's mother went to authorities after finding a text on his phone from Spears that read, "I have a boy crush on you."
Police in Altamonte did not search the phone at the time, but the mother later called the Orlando Police Department, which had a forensic examiner uncovered data from the pictures.
Authorities said the inappropriate photos were found hidden on the boy's phone in an application called Photo Vault, which allows the user to use a password to protect the photos and hide them from anyone else who uses their phone.
Police said they found multiple naked pictures of Spears on the boy's phone that were taken at her house and others that were taken at the downtown Sheraton, where Spears worked.
Police said it was there that Spears demanded the boy to take off his clothes and have sex with her.
Police said the boy took pictures of Spears and her driver's license, which he gave to police so they could make an arrest.
Spears' neighbor, Bobbie Marden, said she was shocked to hear of the arrest and how the boy kept the photos hidden.
"I would take the phone away, as a mother," Marden said.
Spears' Linked-In page said she is a fitness and nutrition coach and works for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, which owns the Sheraton.
