6 Flagler County students involved in school threat, officials say

Six Flagler County students are accused in a threat against Flagler Palm Coast High School, school administrators said.

Flagler County school officials said the plot against the high school was uncovered during an investigation into an email threat sent to Bunnell Elementary School on Wednesday.

The email threat to the elementary school was traced back to a Flagler County student’s school account.

The threat to the elementary school was determined to be unfounded, but the investigation led to a Flagler Palm Coast High School student.

Administrators discovered a number of students involved in a plan against the high school. Officials did not specify details of that alleged plan.

The students were removed from class, their computers were confiscated and they were questioned by authorities.

The six students will not be allowed on campus until the investigation is complete.

School officials did not say if parents were notified of the threat.
