POLK COUNTY, Fla. - During an undercover investigation into child pornography, Polk County deputies rescued two young children from a life of sexual abuse, Channel 9 has learned.
Now, investigators are looking to help identify hundreds of victims, and Sheriff Grady Judd is asking for the public's help to find them.
"Every time we do an arrest like this and it receives news coverage, we uncover other victims," Judd said.
Investigators told Channel 9 nine people were arrested in the child porn sting, two of whom are accused of having sex with children.
This week, undercover detectives in the Computer Crimes Unit put on Operation Guardian Angel.
One suspect was a truck driver and another was a retired computer programmer for the U.S. Department of Treasury.
Judd said they all need to be locked up.
"If you follow this pattern of activity, we will seek you out," he said.
