SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. - An accident with injuries shut down the lanes of Interstate 4 eastbound near Sanford Tuesday afternoon.
The accident had the interstate shut down at the exit to State Road 17/92.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers and emergency vehicles responded to the accident.
Cars moved slowly past the accident on the right-hand shoulder of the road.
The accident created a lengthy backup.
By 4:40 p.m,. all of the lanes were open, though traffic was still moving slowly in the area.
