Alleged carjackers lock victims in storage unit

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies are looking for two armed carjackers.

Investigators said they locked two people in a storage unit at a flea market on South Orange Blossom Trail Saturday.

One of those victims worked at the flea market and investigators said the robbers demanded the cash she had made for the day.

Officers said she didn’t have any cash on her, so the robbers demanded her car keys instead.

They searched through her car, took her purse and locked her in the storage unit.

They also allegedly robbed a second victim who saw the whole incident, stole his belongings and then locked him in the storage unit with the first victim.

The alleged thieves stole the victims' cars—a black F-150 pickup truck and a blue 2005 Honda Odyssey sedan.

A witness was able to free the victims and call 911.
