• Animal rescue where woman was attacked stops taking in animals

BUNNELL, Fla. - WFTV learned the animal rescue where a woman and her two children were attacked last week is no longer taking in animals, and the Humane Society has cut all ties with the rescue.

On Friday, a dog attacked two young children after their mother left them in her van when she went inside the rescue.

The owner of Second Chance Rescue in Bunnell said she is not taking in any more animals for at least a year.

The dog that attacked the family is still in quarantine and is expected to be euthanized.
