Arrest warrant issued for Sumter County man who left dead woman lying in the road, deputies say

WILDWOOD, Fla. — The Sumter County Sheriff's Office has issued a warrant for the arrest of Terrance Kwamaine Williams, 21, of Wildwood.

Deputies said he's wanted for the murder of Barbara Lynn Grubb, 35, whose body was found lying in the middle of the road on Sunday morning.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 11:18 a.m. Sunday that a woman was lying in the middle of County Road 231 in Wildwood, deputies said.

Deputies have not said how the woman died, but said they’re investigating her death as a homicide.

Deputies have not said how the two knew one another.
