LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A baby was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Lake County around 7 p.m. Saturday.
State troopers said Kimberly Kinggard was driving west on County Road 42 when she swerved, over-corrected and lost control of her Toyota Tacoma.
The front of her truck struck Jesus Vela’s Chevy Pickup.
Kinggard is in critical condition and the baby in her car was killed, troopers said.
Vela is in serious condition.
The crash is still under investigation, and an alcohol test is still pending for Kinggard.
