Baldwin to Trump: Release your tax returns and I'll stop impersonating you

NEW YORK — Donald Trump has been vocal about his dislike of recent "Saturday Night Live" performances by Alec Baldwin, who has become the go-to guy for impersonating the president-elect.

Trump took to Twitter over the weekend to decry "SNL" and Baldwin again, calling the show “unwatchable … and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad.”

Baldwin responded Sunday morning through his Alec Baldwin Foundation Twitter account and offered Trump a deal.

“Release your tax returns and I’ll stop. Ha,” he wrote.

Trump, a billionaire businessman who has promised to step away from his numerous investments, has steadfastly refused to release his tax returns.

According to the Tax History Project, Trump is the first Republican nominee since Nixon not to release his tax returns to the public.
