Small bear spotted on UCF campus

ORLANDO, Fla. — A bear was spotted on the University of Central Florida campus Tuesday, the UCF Police Department said.

There have been multiple sightings, including near Academic Village.

In a surveillance picture, the small bear was seen walking nest to a building.

UCF police said they don't believe the bear is aggressive.

However, they sent a precautionary campus-wide email with safety tips, and are asking anyone who sees the bear to call them at 407-823-5555.
