SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. - A car struck a bear on State Road 46 near Sanford Tuesday night, Seminole fire officials said.
Officials said the car struck the bear just before 10 p.m. near North Henderson Lane.
According to officials the driver of the car wasn't injured in the accident.
Because the bear suffered extensive injuries it had to be put down, officials said.
