ORLANDO, Fla. - While Floridians are enjoying the warm, sunny weather, people in the Midwest to the East Coast are being hit with a powerful winter storm.
A blizzard has led to dozens of canceled flights at Orlando International Airport Friday, stranding many travelers.
People were camped out at OIA and waiting to get a flight home.
A senior class of Leonardo da Vinci High School in Buffalo, N.Y. is in Orlando for a senior trip.
Delays had them hanging out in the airport, sleeping, playing cards and doing whatever they can to pass the time.
Right now, they are nervous they might have to spend another night at OIA.
"We’re crossing our fingers, but it doesn't look good though," said traveler Abbey Marchewka.
So far, WFT was told that close to 70 flights have been canceled or delayed.
