Brevard Co. judge appointed to 18th judicial circuit court

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A Brevard County judge just earned a promotion.

Gov. Rick Scott appointed Judge Kelly Jo McKibben, of Viera, to the 18th Judicial Circuit Court Tuesday.

A University of Florida alumna, McKibben has served as a Brevard County court judge since 2006 and served several legal positions with the Department of Children and Families.
