Bronze name plates stolen off Volusia Co. cemetery headstones

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A Daytona Beach cemetery may add extra security to keep people from stealing bronze name plates off of headstones.

In the past three months, authorities said there have been several theft reports at the Lohman's Memorial Park on Bellevue Road in Daytona Beach.

Some of the bronze pieces are worth more than $2,000, officials said.
