Montrale Hamilton
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. —

A Burger King assistant manager was arrested for allegedly stealing money to teach a co-worker a lesson last Thursday in Volusia County.

Officials said 32-year-old Montrale Hamilton took one of the store's cash deposit bags home after Hamilton says another assistant manager left it on the floor.

When Hamilton came to work on Friday and was asked about the missing deposit bag, he first claimed he hadn't seen it, investigators said.

Hamilton admitted he took the deposit bag after the manager told all the employees they would have to take a polygraph test.

Officials said Hamilton admitted taking the bag was a mistake and is now facing grand theft charges.
