Burglary suspects crash at Orlando intersection, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — At least two people are in custody after they led Orange County deputies on a chase, investigators said.

Deputies said they responded to a burglary call on the north side of town just after 12 p.m. Friday. When deputies showed up, one of the accused burglars assaulted the deputy, but the details and extent of the injuries are not known at this time.

The accused burglars took off in their car and deputies went after them until the burglars crashed at Conroy and Vineland roads, investigators said.

A firearm was recovered in the burglars vehicle, deputies said.

It’s unclear if anyone was hurt.
