SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. - The Bushnell City Council will hold a meeting Monday night to discuss if the city still needs its own police department.
Council members will decide if the city will hire a new police chief and officers, or use Sumter County's sheriff's office for law enforcement.
Back in March, the police chief resigned because of accusations of officers drinking on duty and damaging city property.
WFTV will update this story as it develops.
