SAN DIEGO, - Lawmakers in California have thrown out a bill that would have forced SeaWorld San Diego to stop using killer whales for entertainment.
The proposed bill comes after the controversial documentary “Blackfish,” which criticizes the park’s animal practices.
It would have also ended breeding, and the import and export of orcas in California.
More than 1 million people signed a petition in support of the bill.
