Cape Canaveral City Hall to close amid spike in coronavirus cases

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Beginning Monday, Cape Canaveral City Hall will be closed to the public.

City officials recently announced the temporary move, pointing to the rise in COVID-19 cases, both locally and statewide.

In addition to City Hall, the Nancy Hanson Recreation Complex will shut down until further notice beginning July 13.

Cape Canaveral leaders said all other city services will operate as usual but meetings will be by appointment only.
