DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A car smashed into a home on Fountainview Lake Boulevard in Daytona Beach Wednesday night, injuring the driver and leaving a gaping hole in the building, police said.
The crash was reported at about 10 p.m.
The driver was placed on a stretcher and taken from the scene by ambulance, but authorities have not released any information on the seriousness of his or her injuries.
No one inside the home was reported to have been injured in the crash.
No other information was released.
