Caught on Camera: Woman steals Salvation Army kettle outside Walmart SuperCenter

WAYCROSS, GA — The Waycross Police Department is asking for help with identifying a woman seen on camera running up to an unattended Salvation Army kettle and taking it.

The incident happened outside a Walmart SuperCenter on Memorial Drive in Waycross, Georgia.

Police said the woman is possibly driving a late-model black SUV.

Officers shared photo and video of the theft on their Facebook page on Wednesday.

Police are asking anyone with information about the woman's identity to contact Detective Sgt. Teresa Grant at 912-287-2929 or 2933. Call the police department at 921-287-2921 or the tip line at 921-287-2924.
