Clermont man killed in motorcycle crash

CLERMONT, Fla. — A 60-year-old Clermont man was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday.

Florida Highway Patrol said Charles Forsyth was on his motorcycle, headed south on Lakeshore Drive, when a woman driving a red pickup truck pulled out in front of him at County Road 561.

The crash pinned the motorcycle under the truck.

The Forsyth died at Southlake Hospital.

State troopers said charges are pending against the driver of the pickup.
