Coast Guard rescues teens, dog in Georgia

WILMINGTON ISLAND, Ga. — Two teenagers and their dog have quite the story to tell after they had to be rescued by the Coast Guard in Georgia.

The teens canoe became stuck in a marsh Monday on Wilmington Island, the Coast Guard said.

Crews were training in the area and saw a flashing light coming from the canoe, the guard said.

The teens, ages 14 and 15, are in good condition.
