TAMPA, Fla. - A recent college graduate took an unconventional approach to find a job.
Damian Romero handed out his resume to drivers along the streets of Tampa.
He graduated in May from the University of South Florida.
Romero said he hit the pavement because he was not getting callbacks through online job applications.
Romero was later hired at a law firm and said no one should ever give up on finding a job.
"You have to be proactive, because it's not going to come to you," he said.
Romero's new boss said he hired him because Romero set himself apart by handing out resumes on the side of the road.
Romero hit the streets with a friend who is still working to find a job.
