Composite sketch released of suspect in fatal shooting outside hospital

ORLANDO, Fla. - On Friday, investigators released a composite sketch of a man suspected in a homicide outside an Orlando hospital.

Alex Mazzan was shot and killed in the middle of the campuses of Winnie Palmer Hospital and Orlando Regional Medical Center Monday.

He and a friend, Ronald Scott, were leaving after visiting a mutual friend who was injured in a dirt bike accident.

Mazzan, 20, was shot after he and Scott got into an argument with a group of men who drove up in a white Nissan Altima on Lucerne Terrace.

The shooter has been described as a black man, between 18-23 years old with short dreadlocks.

Officers said he was seated on the rear passenger’s side and fired from inside the car.

They said the shooter was with another man, and a woman was driving the car.
