Cops: 2 Lake Mary men stole money from Kardashians, Ashton Kutcher

LAKE MARY, Fla. - A Seminole County man is in jail on no bond, accused of stealing the identities of celebrities and cash from their bank accounts.

Police said some of the biggest names in Hollywood and government are the newest identity theft victims in the scheme out of Lake Mary.

Investigators said 19-year-old Luis Flores and his roommate, Kyah Green, stole more than $70,000 from the likes of Kim Kardashian, Ashton Kutcher and many more.

Investigators said the pair had plans to go after the director of the FBI until they were caught.

Federal agents said Flores and Green used celebrity information to fool banks and credit card companies, which overnighted new cards to his apartment in Lake Mary.

Investigators suspect they got the personal information, ranging from addresses to Social Security numbers, from computer hackers.

Investigators said Flores wired $70,000 from Kris Jenner's American Express card straight to his personal bank account.

Agents have surveillance pictures of Flores making withdrawals from ATMs.

They used the information he had given the banks to track him down.

Investigators said they found a flash drive with the personal information of first lady Michelle Obama, singer Beyonce and FBI Director Robert Mueller inside Flores' apartment.

They said he even tried to hack into the bank account of the director of the U.S. Marshal Service, the same agency that arrested him.

Investigators said he even made a fake Social Security card on a photocopier inside the business center at the apartment complex.

Management declined to comment.

Flores may have dozens of local victims as well, investigators said.

Green is out on bail awaiting trial.
