Cops: Mother of 3 left children home alone without food

SANFORD, Fla. — A Sanford mother is facing charges after police said she left her three young children home alone.

Officers said when they arrived at Latoya Rolle's home they found a 9-year-old, 6-year-old and an 18-month-old baby home alone without any food.

The children told police their mother often leaves them home alone.

Rolle claimed she left the children with a neighbor.

The children are staying with a relative.
