I-4 reopens after crash in Sanford

SANFORD, Fla. — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 are back open after a two-vehicle crash in Sanford Friday afternoon.

The crash happened near County Road-46A shortly after noon.

Authorities spent a little more than an hour directing other drivers around the wreckage and through the grass median and back onto the roadway. I-4 reopened fully shortly after 1 p.m.

There's no word on what caused the crash or whether anyone was injured.
