ORLANDO, Fla. - Charlie Crist made a campaign stop at Orlando's Mayor Carl T. Langford Park Thursday as part of his school bus tour.
The stop was a part of his three-day bus tour across the state.
Crist told a crowd that Gov. Rick Scott cut $1.3 billion from education, including $20 million to pre-K.
"Florida can't afford Rick Scott anymore," Crist said.
The tour kicked off in Tallahassee and made a stop in Jacksonville on Wednesday afternoon. It
will conclude in Miami on Friday.
Crist also said that in Scott's first budget proposal, he proposed cutting $3.3 billion from K-12 education, but the legislature forced him reduce those cuts to $1.3 billion.
