CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — The Delta 4 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral Wednesday night.
The Cape Canaveral Air Force station launched a satellite with advanced military communications capabilities.
The satellite will provide the U.S. Department of Defense, the White House and U.S. and allied troops a secure, high-bandwidth communication platform.
The launch went off at 8:29 p.m.
