Deputies: Flagler County wife accused of killing husband found dead

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — A Flagler County woman accused of killing her husband at a Daytona Beach hospital has been found dead in her home, deputies said.

Deputies were called to a home on Ethan Allen Drive in Palm Coast on Thursday and found Jan Sochalski, 62, dead, investigators said.

Sochalski’s daughter called deputies when she had not heard from her mother since Wednesday afternoon, investigators said.

Sochalski had various medical issues, investigators said. Her cause of death has not been released.

Daytona Beach police said in August 2016, Sochalski covered the nose and mouth of Henry “Butch” Sochalski, her husband until he suffocated.
