Deputies investigate after 15-year-old shot in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies said they're searching for clues after a 15-year-old was shot in the Pine Hills area Saturday morning.

According to investigators, the teenage shooting victim rode his bicycle to his uncle's home on Leprechaun Drive and collapsed in the living room around 9:30 a.m. The 15-year-old had been shot in the torso, and was unresponsive when deputies and emergency crews arrived at the home.

The teen was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, deputies said. His name hasn't been released.

Investigators said they are working to determine further details about the shooting, including where it happened. Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or has information about the shooting is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
