OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A man was arrested Friday after deputies said he stabbed and killed a woman outside a Home Depot in Osceola County.
When deputies responded to the store in the 1600 block of South Poinciana Boulevard in Kissimmee, they found Silvia Castillo-Aguilera, 38, in the garden center with a stab wound on her neck.
Deputies said she ran into the garden area of the store after she was stabbed.
Castillo-Aguilera was taken to Osceola Regional Hospital, where she died.
Deputies said they were able to quickly locate the suspect, Daniel Ortiz, 37.
Investigators said the two had a domestic relationship and met in the parking lot of the store, which is where the incident began.

A pair of shoes and sunglasses were spotted near evidence markers near the store’s garden center.
“It’s very unnerving,” said shopper William DeJesus. “We come shopping here all the time, so it makes us second-guess whether to come back to this store or not.”
Ortiz is facing a first-degree murder charge and is being held at the Osceola County Jail without bond.
