ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Orange County deputies said a man was killed and another was injured when shots were fired inside 'Dolly's One Stop Records' Saturday night.
Multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired inside 'Dolly's One Stop Records' came in around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies said. The business, located at 400 N. Pine Hills Road, was open at the time of the shooting, according to officials.
When deputies arrived at the scene, a 33-year-old man was found on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A second shooting victim, a 50-year-old man, drove himself to Orlando Regional Medical Center, investigators said.
"We have two males in ORMC. One expired at the hospital and one is in critical condition in surgery," Lt. Paul Hopkins with the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies said that other businesses in the area were open at the time of the shooting and it's fortunate no one else was hurt.
"We're happy that no other persons were injured during this incident," Hopkins said.
Deputies are hoping the surviving shooting victim can help investigators determine a motive for the shooting and what led up to the incident.
"Obviously we want to speak to the gentleman once he's out of surgery," Hopkins said.
The victims' names have not been released. Sheriff's office officials said the case is an active homicide investigation.
