Deputies search for armed robber in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies are looking for a man they said walked into a Circle K and threatened the clerk with a gun Tuesday morning.

Surveillance video shows the man walking up to the counter at the store on South Orange Blossom trail and waving his gun around while pointing it at the clerk.

The robbery lasted only a few moments and the sheriff’s office is not sure how the man made his getaway.

He’s described as a black man, around 6-feet-tall in his 20s, wearing camouflage pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, and a red bandanna over his face.

Investigators said the clerk was the only person in the store at the time.

“These people are desperate, and dangerous, and they’ll do that whether there’s one or two or three people in there,” said Lt. Parks Duncan with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. “They don’t care.”
