Search continues for man who exposed himself to young Osceola girl

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies are searching for a man they said exposed himself to a young girl as she walked to school Tuesday morning.

The 12-year-old was walking to Discovery Intermediate School in Poinciana when a man pulled up next to her and exposed himself.

The victim’s father said he wants the man off the streets before he traumatizes another child.

“I was disturbed, man. I was in shock. I’m still in shock. I never expected something like this to happen to me or my kids,” said the victim’s father, who did not want to be identified.

“It appeared as if he was following her, trying to get her attention,” said Twis Lizasuain, with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. “She did not turn around, but when she did on the third try, she notices he was exposed and inappropriately touching himself.”

The girl’s father said the incident shocked and frightened her, but she was still able to finish her school day after reporting the incident to authorities.

Deputies spent the morning looking for the man, who is believed to be driving a four-door green sedan.

The girl’s father spent time going block to block trying to find the man who terrorized his daughter.

“There are so many people out there that just are here to do harm and they don’t belong around here,” he said.

The father had a strong message for the man.

“I hope they find you. You know, you need help. You need a lot. Your mind is sick,” he said.

Deputies released a composite sketch, hoping it leads to a suspect.
