Hit-and-run driver causes chain-reaction crash in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies are still searching for a hit-and-run driver involved a chain-reaction crash Sunday night.

The accident happened along Oak Ridge Road about 11 p.m.

Witnesses said five vehicles were involved, two of which ended up in a ditch.

One driver said the crash happened when a white van peeled out of a gas station and cut him off.

"Very fast. I saw brake lights," said victim Daniel Kaylor. "We all just, kind of like dominoes, ran into each other. I slammed on the brakes and veered to the right."

Deputies are searching for the driver and a passenger who were in the white van.

Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
