Deputies: Three arrested in chop shop bust

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A mother and son face charges for allegedly running a chop shop in Polk County.

Deputies arrested Aleta Burgett, her son Brent and business partner Alexander Bove Thursday.

According to investigators, they ran their shop from a septic tank store off Dairy Road in Auburndale.

Some of the stolen items investigators recovered include car parts, vehicles and dozens of guns.

Deputies said they also found $13,000 in cash and a small amount of meth.
